everything is certainly starting to look good but i thought a few pages back someone posted that the i760 wouldnt have Rev A. looks like i will have this baby before i start college this will be lovely patience can be a wonderful thing

I REALLY hope this is the one time in the history of rumor threads data reps have been right, Rev A would be sweet!

I just got off the phone with a VZW data rep about an i730 issue. We discussed the i760 and he stated it will have Rev A. As far as a release time all he could say was "very soon".

I'm going to be positive and think it will have Rev A. Just like I'm trying to think positive that one day this phone might actually come out.
So, now that we have all turned the calendar to August, the only thing I have seen is Samsung SCH-i760 Specs | Technical Specifications | PDAdb.net indicating: "Release Date: September, 2007". Of course PDAdb.net has been insisting that the unit has "IrDA 1.2, 115200bit/s (SIR/CIR)", so we have to take this with a grain of salt.

I am wondering how many people would be delighted with a September general release? As it turns out, I was talking to a VP of VZW last evening and he told me he was hearing noise about people bailing due to release slippage of business devices. He said that everyone who leaves will come back because nobody else has a network that is competative with VZW. He said it with little or no emotion.
Oh yes, when I asked him when the i760 would be out, he said that they are trying to get it out within two weeks, but he did not feel it was as much of a priority as some of the other devices that they really want to release release this month.
I am wondering what is going on in the minds of the VZW leadership. I am wondering how they got so disconnected from their customers?

Let em...and eventually something better will come out and their sales for having their head up their butts will plumett....but the network....ohhhhhh.....
I hope this is all just last minute noise and that the announced release will be in line with what Michael and Equus have been saying. I have noticed that their contributions are exceptionally reliable, but it will be what it will be.
