I've tried a series of numbers working up from their newest phone and also a series about the samsung dual flip.

Didn't get any love though, I gave up about 60 - 75 up from both

Boy, for the 1st time in quite a few months I'm actually excited about this phone....

Not TOO excited cause Ive been down this road before....

LOL I've been going for an hour now to phoneID I think I went up to 3200 but quit.

They don't seem to have any logic to their numbering system!! (Or their customer service)

It is official, if you look at the pictures in swf, you can see the "Get applications now" button. It might be a more business oriented "Get it Now".

Acutally no, as Samsung has been using it in the teleco area MUCH longer than Apple, dating back before the i700, so I think Samsung would win in a court battle over this....

Just got off the phone with "Ethan" after I saw the Flash animation. He said that the marketing department is "ramping up" and it still looks good for a July release. He said that it can still change, as they don't confirm dates for devices until they actually announce it, then they hold the date. He says they know of a date, but he can't tell me... Sometimes he can be a butt about things...

Hopefully its just a standard today plugin with the mighty checkbox so I can reclaim that screen real estate.

I sent an email to my biz rep @verizon today and his response is [sarcasm] SURPRISINGLY[/sarcasm]:

ETA: Based on responses here in the last couple days, and esp MRailings... I'm starting to think July 19-20 as well.

If it's a July 20th release that'd be a great bday present for me! My bday is July 23rd haha. But I think now that I made the switch to Sprint's SERO plan, I'll just return the Treo 700Wx that I got for my wife and get her this. Our 30 day return allowance ends on 7/22 so hopefully there will be a 7/19-7/20 launch!

I hope that if they do add VCast and Get It Now, we can figure out a way to remove the software. I cause enough problems myself by bloating my device with unnecessary software. The last thing I need is additional bloat of unneeded (and unwanted) software loaded by VZW.

So what is HFHO or what ever you got the swf file from Geckotek? And this is not from a Verizon site, didn't you mention in your post that it was posted by a first timer? I mean, don't get me wrong, the quality is not that great so I hope that they were starting work on it, but it looks like a noob made the file and is now being passed around as legit. I am still hoping for a July release, like you all, but I am reluctant.....

I agree...I need to stay away from excessive applications loaded on my samsung. I went overboard with the i730 and finally ended up doing a hard reset and left it that way. I must say that my i730 was VERY stable in the last several months prior to selling it.

I wonder if the i730 resell value will further drop once the i760 hits the market. I decided to sell early before the market became saturated--that was my prediction anyway.

please understand that I am hoping that this is the real deal, its just that after reading this topic thread, we have seen a lot of dates....

This link is on the vzw page and is working as of 3:30 pst. Seems like good info if you ask me. Although in the end it still means nothing other than at one point in time someone was given the task of making this file.

All I am sayin is that the 1st I saw was kind of unprofessional in quality for it to be the real deal. It was too grainy, especially if you look at the other phones that have their flash pages. Now that I see this from the site, I am sorry.
