How can I get my backlight to turn off automatically after missed calls?

I have already set my backlight is set to turn off automatically. However, I notice that if I miss a call, by the time I notice my battery is almost drained b/c after the missed call my phone backlight remains on.

I'm sure others may have some other suggestions that may not require additional software, but I use S2U2 and it locks the screen and turns off the backlight off for me. If you get no other suggestions do check it out (google S2U2 should be 1st result)
