I had a generic before. It kept blowing the lighter fuse. The charger itself was fuseless, so I had to replace the car fuse every time. I got the Verizon charger on Monday. It is also fuseless, but overall quality appears to be good. The glowing logo looks cool. Only gets slightly warm during use. If this one proves problematic, I'll probably get the Samsung OEM. Does anybody know if the Samsung's charger has a fuse?
It's a shame that Samsung went with a proprietary plug. At this point I am trying to avoid any devices that don't use standard USB ports.

I use the Dynex FMDC1, I can use my retractable usb cable to charge and an audio cable to transmit music to my car stereo. Untill I get a BlueTooth car stereo, this is the way for me.
