Hey guys i am having alot of issues with third party apps, including some you all have listed here as working. Is there something i need to do to get these to work?
ok, so i see all these third party apps that work on here....
but is there anywhere on this site or another that list what these apps do? or why they are useful... obviously some are self explanatory, but i'm still new to pda's/pocket pc's.. the 760 is my first one.. i had fooled around with a few random apps before.. and ended up uninstalling all of them.
i know i could google each one, and i'm not trying to be lazy... but there has got to be some sort of list somewhere that tells me what these apps do, why they are needed, what they are good for... etc etc etc.....
Works:
Ptravel alarm version 2.7.3
Iguidance v4
HTC home customizer V2.1 (I was reading some others were not able to get it working but works great with me)

Styletap is the emulator that allows many Palm aps to run on PPC. It does not run the menus so well so the stylus is often necessary to use it. I found it must be installed in main memory. Some Palm programs were never ported over and this lets them live on.
I'm sorry I'm jumping into this thread rather late, but I'd like to make a suggestion: Be sure to include not just the program name but also the version number of the program. Oftentimes, an older version of a program will not run properly (or at all) with a newer operating system. Thus, it's important for other users to know what version of a program will work with WM 6.1.
For those of you who have already posted a list of working software but have not listed the version number of the software, I recommend you go back and edit your post(s) to include the version number.
Thanks,

Thanks,
In title I revealed version number. Thanks for reminder anyway.
