Hey all, I just noticed an interesting quirk with the 6.1 upgrade that I am 99% sure didn't exist with 6.0. I sync with two machines at home. One is XP home and the other is Vista home. As a backdrop I make my own themes and system event wav files and the easiest way for me to dump them on to the phone is when it is sync'd. However now after the upgrade on the Vista machine the 'Windows' directory is not accessible. It still shows via active sync on the XP machine. WMDC on the Vista machine hides this and some other directories it seems as well. I never messed with any WMDC settings so from day one when I initially got the phone I recall having access to all directories. Can anyone suggest a remedy? Now I dump things to the SD card then copy and paste the files where I want them to go. That is becoming a pita as I now am making my own ringers for most of my contacts.

Another thing I noticed is that pause dialing (with your pass code) will not save as the default voicemail number. Has anyone who does this been successful?
I have a couple of apps (Magic Button, wmstopwatch) that will not stay running after the device sleeps. Magic Button just goes away, and the stopwatch will just stop counting down and go back to the default startup screen.
Also, I just noticed that I no longer have the calculator program. I did after the upgrade, but now it's gone. Where does one go to get something like this?
I'll be talking on the phone and suddenly a shrill feed back hits my speaker. I can mute, and the other side will mute, but it doesn't stop the feed back. I'll be forced to hang up
I cant find anything to adjust to stop this. Some times I will notice that the person on the other end was quite for a bit, make a noise like for example crumpling papers, then speak over this and the feed back hits.
Windows Mobile 6.1 Hot Fix for Sending POP and IMAP E-mail
Sprint Level 3 Tech Support couldn't even identify my godaddy.com outgoing email problem. Here's the fix. Anyone having outgoing smtp issues should try this fix.
Have searched and did not find this addressed: I am unable to pair my i760 with my auto's built in bluetooth (2008 MB C350). I had no problem with 6.0 version. Now after successful upgrade to 6.1, car and phone see each other, but when I enter the code on my phone to pair (using same numerical code 0000 that I have entered on my car) I get a message saying connection failed. Any ideas?
my phone has frozen completely since i upgraded to WM6.1 has anyone else had this problem?
I have tried removing the battery
i tried a soft reset nothing
i've tried a hard reset and still it gets frozen on the "verizonwireless" screen everytime i've called verizon on this issue but they suggested i try all the things i have already.
The big bug I'm seeing (at least for me) is that I cannot get Microsoft Reader to activate on the i760 under Windows Mobile 6.1
I've read around on the net and it seems this is an all too common issue.
I mean the activation controls download and install and all seems just fine, until I try to actually open MS Reader. It tells me it's not activated, and when I open any protected books it just terminates without an error code of any kind.
As I said, I've heard this is a common issue that it appears MS has put no word out on, but all I know is this means I cannot sell my i730 until they fix this bug. *sighs*
My phone sometimes wont turn on. It stops at the white verizon screen halfway through the verizon check, and doesnt turn on. How should i go about fixing this?
