So I was tinkering in my registry last nite...

And messed up my MMS messaging while experimenting with threaded texting...

I need to replace my PC10 key because as of right now, I can't really receive text messages. Can someone help me out here by either posting theirs or walking me through it?

I found this key on xda:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\PushRouter\Registrations\ByGenericId\PC10]
"ContentTypes"="application/vnd.wap.mms-message"
"Path"="messaging.exe"
"Params"=" -MMSIndication -silent"
"GenId"="PC10"
"RefCount"=dword:00000001
"AppId"=""
"Trust"=dword:00000002

It's close but it's not really working.

Kashew, Welcome to the Forum!

I just looked and I only have PC1-5. Probably due to I don't use MMS messaging. I am sure somebody here does and will post it for you. Thanks, JASTECH

I apologize, I only have 1, 2, 3, & 5 as well. I also have 2 other folders in the "ByGenericID" folder with a bunch of alpha-numeric characters. If you need values from any of those folders, let me know...

2ksilverbullet, thanks! I was wondering why I had 5 missing even though I don't use MMS but it's installed, lol.

Ok, Kashew let us know what you need and either of us can post the reg. for you.

Kashew, you know what they say about tinkering with your registry...

keep playing with it and you'll go blind....

Just to keep you all updated, I haven't gotten my MMS fixed yet because apparently Verizon requires the account's tax ID to give you service...so I have to scramble around and find it now...

If the phone is billed in your name, Normally, that would be your SSN not your companies Tax ID.
