Yep. This makes you start from scratch. Phone will come out looking just like the first time you turned it on.

Yeah, if someone could check to see if 8gb cards work, that would be excellent!

One that was done. It now says WM 6.1
Also my SW version page is a little different... maybe cause my phone was one of the first ones.

S/W Version
PDA: S:i760.07 V.BD14.19202
Phone: S:i760.07 V.AH08
eboot: 02.00

What else should I see now that it is wm6.1?

THANKS for all those who posted before this... it gave me the confidence to try the upgrade!!

THANKS
PaulG
Anyone know why my phone software version is showing:
Phone: S:i760.07 V.AH08
and not the VBD14 like others?

The PDA is correct... just the phone is not done.

Can I run the upgrade again? Will that mess anything up?

Please advise.

THANKS
PAul G

If I hit the right soft key and choose contacts nothing happens. I can open the contacts from the phone page but not the today screen. Is this a bug or just something bad with my phone? It worked ok before the upgrade.

Just finished the update. Not seeing anything THAT different. I hope the optimizations (battery life, memory management, whatever) are worth the time it's going to take me to reinstall everything. ugh. This is going to take awhile.

L Supreme --

My last phone got stuck in that "clearing data...." mode a little while back after a soft reset. I couldn't even get it past it for hard resets. Don't know what happened. (It was before the 6.1 upgrade, so certainly unrelated). No one including VZQ knew what was wrong or how to fix, so they had to overnight me a refurb. Hope it is not the same problem for you, but I found no solution.
