Anyone?

I am really getting desperate, my free trial of PDAnet expired and i need to connect. I want the fastest possible and the ISCcab file seams the best but I can only get a local-only connection
Please help I need to use this in a day or so on the road and really dont want to waste $35 on pdanet if this way is faster/beter.

Hey there,

I use my i760 everyday for tethering to my laptop. It kinda sucks as you can't use the phone and the internet at the same time. What i've found is that if your ICS doesn't install properly, you won't know (no warning). Best case, de-install ICS, soft boot, install ICS, (DON"T OPEN ICS YET), soft boot, then open ICS, click connect, and connect your USB cable.

NOTE: The dock cable DOES NOT work with this. It needs to be a direct USB cable. It could possible be your version of the ICS install cab, so if you need PM me and I'll send you the one I use (and confirmed to work without any reg hacks or whatever.)

Nick

I use PDA Net and can use the phone at the same time I am connected to my laptop. You have to be using EVDO for this, 1X does not have this capability. I use the USB cable that also charges the phone.
