I am looking for some good GPS software. I am currently using Google Maps, which is pretty good. It has a feature that is neat, but I want to take it to the next level. I would like to track walking/ biking trails on my phone. I would like to do this in real time (look on the map and see where I just came from). There are several programs that, as far as I can tell, will track your trails, but you have to load them into a map program to be able to view them on the map. They do have some great features such as time & distance traveled that is viewed instantly. I like the google map program, I just need an option for "record" trail (showing the trail highlighted like the ones you create on the web) w/ a save feature that would allow me to walk it again (and keep up with the data from each trip).

Not asking for much am I?

Try e-Mobile GPS Fitness or their other products. I think these will be close, but do have a cost...
I am thinking about trying it myself.
