Unhappy Silly Question but pls help: How to move all SMS from SIM to Phone?

hi,

i just got this phone and i want to Move all my SMS from the SIM card to the phone memory. But i can't find a single option under messages that lets me do that.

I have to go to each message and copy to phone. But if i delete the msg on SIM, then the message on phone gets transferred to Trash folder and i have to manually move it back to Inbox. I can't do this for 300 messages!!

Please help.

Hmm... Are you an i900 user? Most of us are i910 users and, news to me, do we have a SIM card? Ours is a CDMA phone and the only visible card that I see when I take the back off is the memory card.

i900 it is

yeah, mine is an i900...so this means more googling more me....i was happy to find a dedicated Omnia forum to be honest!

i have one more question realted to messaging...i have a feeling that feature will be the same.

Whenever i open an SMS to read, it directly opens the reply window and quoting the original message. Is there no read-only mode for just reading and then choosing to reply??

Sorry I can't help you on that one. I'm too cheap to text and I'm strictly an e-mail type!
