Haven't tried it yet. Actually have gotten used to Titanium after customizing it as well as re-organizing Today screen into a hierarchy. However this update looks like it's worth playing around with.
It is a nice cosmetic upgrade and yes it is free from 3.0. I want to caution anyone out there who installed the cab adding the Professional Widgets to the Lifestyle page. It gave me a black error screen and I had to uninstall both of them and then reinstall 3.5. BUT it is very pretty.
Had to uninstall the previous version before installing the new version otherwise it would not install. I just used my registration key from the 3.0 version.
Has any one gotten the 3d carousel to work? According to a video if you tilt the phone it shows it in a nifty 3 dimensional wheel.
Yeah, the carousel works. Just touch the bottom left little thingy and it changes to the 3D deal. Then you can swipe from screen to screen and then tap the one you want and it goes there. This worked on 3.0 as well - unless you are speaking of something else.
I see the carousel that you're talking about but there is another. It is like you are looking down on the carousel from above and you can see the entire "wheel" even the images that are in back.
Go here and then click on the "UI" tab near the bottom of the page. It is the second image.

I think Kurtzz3 was saying the video showed a tilt movement moving the carousel rather than a swipe which, yes, always works.
I read in other forums where turning on the MS 3-d acceleration option greatly improved performance. However those of us with Omnia note that we don't have that option in our MS settings.
Does the Omnia not have the necessary hardware I assume is why the option does not show up?
Edit: From SPB's forum:
Hello and welcome to the forum!
3D acceleration is not supported by Mobile Shell for Samsung Omnia devices.

Anyone having the problem with the Lifestyle (main) page freezing on them? If I hit the call button and then the end call button it is no longer frozen, but that is a bit of pain to do all the time. I've already tried reinstalling the program twice, and I have plenty of memory available.
I guess those lucky enough to have Omnia II's (in Russia) are also not getting the acceleration option although they've already managed to hack a DLL to allow it since the hardware should support it.
BTW, when IS verizon gonna release that puppy? I've read that it's in stock and techs are getting familiar with it. Latest rumor is next tuesday (10/6) but I NEVER believe rumors.

I have not had this problem. I also think the performance is pretty good. It could always be faster (just like the car in front of me that never seems to know what the speed limit is).
Where I see poor performance the most is when I lock the device. It seems to take about five seconds to lock - like it is thinking or something. Lock should be instant. I set my camera button on the side to lock the screen so when I put it in my case or pocket, it isn't making calls without me. I hate sitting there waiting for it to finally lock so I can get on with life.
I'm having issues with my wifi not working. I click the button on any of the pages that are provided with it on there, and it brings up the thinking color wheel only to do nothing with it. I've tried double clicking on the signal strength meter on top to get to the wireless manager and the wifi button that normally shows up along with the phone and bluetooth button is no where to be found. Any thoughts?
Try exiting SPB 3.5 and see if it reproduces.
Launcer->Settings->spb mobile shell-> click icon in lower right->exit moile shell
FWIW, my wifi is working.

Do you have wifirouter installed? If so, then use its cleanup utility and reboot perhaps. If not, I have no clue. The missing wifi was a symptom of wifirouter taking a nosedive as I recall. Are you associating the problem with MS3.5?
