I go hold scroll key and click on batt level to get run screen or command line and type the line that it says to copy just as it is written but it will not install says invalid win mobil application any input? am i copying to right place? input would be appreciated tired of fooling with it tried emailing pda net and havent had a response in days...

Just download the pdanet to your 64 bit vista and install it on your pc, then connect your omnia to the pc with the sync cable and active sync and it will ask if you want to install pdanet to your device. say yes and it will install to your device and then follow the setup guide, nothing special just like installing any other program on your omnia.

Actually, on the pdaNet site, you want the PdaNetW20x64.exe download. That's what I installed under 64-bit Win7 (a few months ago). The Omnia may not be any different but to run the desktop controller program, you need the 64-bit version for your 64-bit OS as the drivers are presumably different.

EDIT: Download the 64-bit version from this web page:
Download PdaNet ( the hyperlink "or 64-bit version")
