I have a wierd issue. I have searched but I may not be putting in the right word combinations. I am using SPB Mobile Shell 3.0. I am not sure when the issue started but my phone does not seem to ring. I have it set to Vibrate and ring but it only vibrates. I have checked notifications and the ringtone works, If I put it on ring only then it is totally silent when I receive a call. It's not the speaker. It just refuses to play a ringtone when I get a call. I have switched ringtones and it still does the same thing.

Little bit hard for me to check because I have Spb Phone Suite installed in addition to MS 3. But there are several settings in Phone Suite that affect vibration vs ring. Have you checked the MS tool to make sure there is not more than one setting that needs to be changed. For Phone Suite, there is Sound Mode, Ring Type, and Notification Type (probably for events, like alarms, not rings).

Easy things to try are soft reset, reinstall MS 3.0, etc.

Hey. I'm suffering the same problem. I don't have a cooked rom or run ms3.0. And i've done several hard resets and switched to the new rom. I think my phone needs replaced. It will ring about 5% of the time.
