Backlight cycles on and off when connected to BT

Hi all,

I have noticed recently that when my phone is connected to my car stereo I can't get the backlight to stay off. When not connected it is fine, and it doesn't seem to do it with other BT devices like my BT headphones... just my car. If I press the power button it shuts down, but turns on again 15 seconds later. It will go off after a minute, but 15 seconds later it is back on. I recently upgraded to ADs 6.5 Vanilla 2.0 ROM, but I noticed the phone doing it before the upgrade... part of the reason I finally updated ROMs, I thought my phone was going haywire. Anyone else have any problems like this, or ideas on how to fix it? I have checked every setting I can think of... notifications, power modes, etc. No luck.

Have you checked what BT services become available when your car stereo is paired to your Omnia? Maybe one of those services is periodically making your Omnia active and not allowing your Omnia backlight to go off and you could uncheck that service. Just a thought - don't know much about BT and car stereo's. You could try PM'ing our moderator Miata492. He solves such problems for a living, sets people's handsets up with their car, etc., at auto dealerships.
