I am not sure if you have gotten the drift with my previous posts.... But you may want to go back and re-read them to see if you can figure out that I currently have CF03 on my Omnia right now. I have had it for 3 weeks. Before that I had CC26 for 5 weeks. Before that I had CC20 for 8 weeks....

I don't like to state the obvious like what company I work for... But if I am testing these ROM's I am pretty sure you can narrow it down...

And yes, I have reviewed all the ROM's and so far I don't like any of them. It seems like a simple NO BRAINER concept to remove Opera. It is not part of the original Microsoft WinMo build and it is constantly getting upgraded to newer versions. The new Opera is awsome! But it really sucks when you have two different versions on one device.

Shop around some more then. I currently have a rom with no Opera in it. Mind you, its 6.5.

I've not yet pulled Opera out of my 6.1 rom. Its not as simple as deleting a package. Its akin to rom surgery.

Samsung Omnia - Latest 6.5 ROM from Adrynalyne 4.1 (Build 23003)

Not sure what the big deal is--the revisions between versions of 9.5 are slight. In fact, IE typically gets updated more often. In the world of winmo, there is ALWAYS another update. Of course, newer doesn't mean better.

To answer concerns. Once the official rom is released, me and my fellow chefs will be ripping it part and leaving just the good stuff in.

BTW I only use the latest iris browser, much better than the last one, if you're looking for ideas for new ROMS

I must say after using the GPS for a number of days and comparing its reception vs a bluetooth GPS I am sorely disappointed. In situations where the bluetooth GPS is getting 9+ satellites, I am lucky to maintain a lock of 4 with the occasional bump to 6. Also any cloud cover at all seems to cause a serious loss of signal while the bluetooth GPS continues reading just fine

I hope the Omnia II gets a better GPS chip in it... For now I guess I'll be sticking with a bluetooth GPS in my hat.
