The Obligatory "Show Me Your Today Screen" Thread

Every phone thread has one, Now it's time for ours. If you are unsure how to grab a screenshot of your Omnia, you can download the FREE program I used here.

CapSure v1.11 freeware for Windows Mobile Pocket PC.

Ok so I know a lot of people don't even use their Today Screen, so just show us what Mobile Shell, TouchFlo 2D, or whatever.

I have included my custom "Ani_Poweron.gif", "welcomehead.96.png" and of course my Today screen using the Samsung widgets.

OK here's mine. It's not very exciting but functional. And I haven't gotten into skinning too much yet. Just a bunch of SPB products.

HA, no, but close! A friend was recording a live DVD at a club called Lipstick Lounge... sort of the same, but different. (it's a lesbian bar, that might not be very PC, sorry...)

Hey Taco,

Did you have to change anything as far as settings and images to get the WAD2 theme working? I only ask cuz I am trying to modfiy this theme and this theme to work in WVGA.

The problem is that I have never used WAD2 or WA3 so it's all a guessing game.

Thanks, Jim. I was also asked to a do an article for TechRepublic on "Ten Reasons the Samsung Omnia is an iPhone Killer." It will be published after the first of the year. By that time, I likely will have discovered even more great features, tips and techniques.

I did discover solutions to many of the "cons" that I listed in the original review, which I wrote about in a subsequent post titled More Omnia Stuff.

Hey guys, it would be great if you would list any programs/plugins you are using when posting your today screens. that would help everyone out if they are looking to do something similar. nice stuff everyone!

Kept is pretty simple as I need a good solid background to "see" what is on the screen. Was looking for something lighter than black.

Programs Using:
AEButonPlus
Resco Explorer
MyMobiler
Spb Pocket Plus
Spb Keyboard (switch between it and Samsung keyboard)
PocketMax PhoneAlarm
MoDaCo OmniaTHREAD
MohairSofa Calendar+ Today Plugin
Slingplayer Mobile
Tonaya Weather to Go
Inesoft Phone4

Images show my startup screen and the today screen.. last image is SciFi channel via Sling Player (looks better on the device than on the screen capture).

Oh the best part is all those Vacation's listed.... just started my vacation till the end of the year. Yeah!
