I just wanted my today screen to look like a relaxing aquarium, so I bought the Animated Today application, then added a wallpaper background to help it fit the screen resolution:

Of course, it looks a lot more impressive if you can actually SEE the animated fish swimming across the screen.

Looks gorgeous, i910Crazy. Do you have something like MemMaid to tell us what % of Processor power the animation consumes?

Jim, I hadn't bothered to get MemMaid until your post. Thank you for the suggestion ... what an outright handy utility that is!

I checked the performance and according to MemMaid the Animated Today app Processor usage varies between 1.5% to 3.5%. That's not too much of a sacrifice to have a little variety on your today screen, eh?

Plus it makes all the BlackBerry users at work jealous!

Thanks, i910Crazy! Two other questions (OK, 3!) that I should have asked.

How much memory does the app take up, can you put it in My Storage, and where do you buy it?

In MemMaid, if you pick Jump To ->Storage->Installed Apps, you'll get the answer to the first question.

SPB Pocket Plus
PhoneAlarm
SBSH Pocket Weather
PocketToolman

PhatPhinger theme for both PhoneAlarm and Pocket Weather.

It looks a little different now with the new ROM...

Today screen

I upgraded to the leaked ROM, and then to WoZZeR's WM 6.5 v2. The new titanium interface is great. Enjoying GPS and everything is finger-friendly.

For those that are using the sami phone app. try the icontact app. (XDA) Much easier. It allows you to auto insert names in SMS and email through the app.
