I've got the SGP screen protectors on order and should be recieving them any day now. I read some great reviews and watched a couple youtube videos about them. It seems that really the only knock is about finger prints. They do make a fingerprint resistant one but I opted for the other one because it "claims" an optical enhancer effect. What do you think? Sounds like a bunch of sales malarky but I'm always willing to try something once. I got the Zagg on the back of my Omnia because it truly does protect so well but I really don't care for the spongy/plastic like feel of it on the screen itself, personally. I'm like you though Jim, I love the one that came on the phone! If anyone is interested I'll post my reaction to the SGP Steinheil when I get it on and use it a bit.
Hi, Naider
I created a thread for detailed discussion and debate on screen protectors. Besides the quality of the material, how it's applied, I can imagine there could be discussion as to whether there is a video cam hole (if the product is originally of the i900) or whether the product is long enough to cover the SEND and END keys and the D-Pad/Optical Mouse.
Thanks for the info, wtherrell. If you use your stylus on your Screenguardz, I'm interested to know if it digs in at all. Some protectors I've used are relatively soft enough that the stylus tip actually drags a bit in the protector and eventually the stylus tip really wears the protector down.
My reaction intially to the plastic sheet that came with the Omnia was "this can't be a screen protector!?!" But it had the cutout for the speaker. It does go almost to the edges of the phone but if you're using a silicon case, like I am, it nicely keeps the edges of the protector under control. I've come to like it a lot as a durable, washable writing surface. I see on Amazon.com that there is an official Samsung i910 screen protector. It is just not currently available.
Stylus? What's that? Haven't used it in a while. I have been stylus free for nearly a month now! Ok tried the stylus on the ScreenGuardz . Works fine. Only problem is the bubbles are still there and looks like crap.. I'll try one more time with the squeegie card. If it doesn't work, I guess I will try to apply another one. Lord knows I have enough of them.

Airball... I'm pretty sure that you didn't have a case for the Omnia for 6 years. They haven't had it that long. Looks to me like the one time poster above is also the owner of the website being advertised at the link.

Airhead, I mean Airball... I'm pretty sure that you didn't have a case for the Omnia for 6 years. They haven't had it that long. Looks to me like the one time poster above is also the owner of the website being advertised at the link.
Great to reveal true situations but the absence of name calling, etc., has always been a positive aspect of pdaPhoneHome. If something is a flagrant ad, it can always be reported to a moderator with the REPORT button.

The OP didn't say he had a case for the Omnia for 6 years, but that he owned a case made by this company for 6 years that he/she used with 3 different phones. Everyone is a first time poster at some point. This person just happened to provide a positive review of a case he/she was happy with.
for the money it's hard to beat. my preference is a rubber feel so it's not sliding all over the place or out of my hand. but, unlike a silicon case, this is a hard case so you can easily take it in and out of your pockets. i was thoroughly pleased.
If you are looking a protection film for Samsung Omnia, I would recommend protection film at Cretouch.com. They have 3 different types of protection film. 1)Screen Protector Film 2)Anti-Finger Print Screen Film 3)Shield Film for entire body of Omnia. They are Best quality among others in market now. I purchased the Anti-Finger Print Screen Film, no more oily prints on the screen, also protects the screen from the scratch. Gotta love it.
