Wisbar is a software you must purchase. Requesting a registration code, or sharing one is piracy, and we don't condone piracy on this message board. In the future, don't request or share any registration codes for any software...

Easy, there. I purchased Wisbar Advanced the other day and didn't notice any registration key when I dl'd the app. I'm not in to pirating software and was not asking for a registration code. I was referring to whether or not I missed the registration key somewhere in the installation instructions.

No problem, we get a lot of people requesting reg codes, or trying to pirate software. This can bring those companies down on our site, and we are just trying to prevent that from happening.

If you purchased it, normally they give you instructions on obtaining it, or give it to you when you purchase. Where did you buy it from?

I found it in a follow-up email after the purchase. Problem solved.

Be aware that Wisbar Advanced and Wisbar Advanced Desktop are two seperate programs, each purchased individually, and each with its own unique registration.

Thanks. I figured that out a few minutes after my initial post regarding the registration key.

I've got a question regarding the wallpaper provided with Ozan's dl. Can I get rid of the Cingular text?

Sure that are two graphic files Start.png and Start_p.png that you need to replace.

You will find these two files My Device\Themes\Desktop\iphone_wa directory.

I'm attaching the two files I used to replace them. If you want to use them just right click on each of them and save them to your hard drive.

Jim,

Thanks for the files! They look good. I would just shut off the image by going to Wisbar Advance Settings and choose "Button Assignments" and uncheck "This item is visible" then click the green check mark for "ok". That would just shut the image off and have a blank area. It works pretty good because you see the name of the program that is open. I'm not sure which way I prefer, but either way is better then the original.

Thanks, Jim. I've been using a Wisbar Advance iPhone theme for about a month now (don't recall where I obtained it), and the Cingular logo has really been annoying me. This is just want I needed! Thanks again.

Calendar appointments come through with either the slider screen or the "home" screen running, as do all my calls. Truthfully I haven't had a hic-up in over a week now. That's unheard of for my phone, it used to freak out several times a day.

I know it sounds strange, but I have to agree with Mike. I "donated" my $10 and downloaded his skin package, and ever since my phone has been stable as a rock. I have even put phoneAlarm on my primary desktop and created a virtual desktop for PocketBreeze -- and the phone still doesn't require my usual twice-daily (or more) resets. The oddest part of the whole thing is that those are the same two apps I used to have on my today screen.

I don't know if it's because the today apps are now wrapped inside of WAD or what is causing it, but it's a really nice change!

Is everyone still happy with this skin. I made my donation, but haven't recieved an email with a link yet. How long does it take? Is there any downside to installing this skin?

Ralo,

I am definately still happy with the skin! It works perfect for me. The link came pretty quickly, but I think I did it on a weekend so he may not be at a computer during the day?.?.? I haven't seen any downsides as of yet.

Ok I'm kinda confused, I just got my 730 and i want to get the ozan i phone theme. I know I must donate 10 to ozan to get it. Now to get tis installed right will I need WisBar Advance and WisBar Advance Desktop. it seems like ozan's comes with a theme for either. If you don't need both which one works better with this version the Advance or the Advance Desktop I want to get the one that will work the best.

Ralo,

The grey squares are for pictures for quick contacts to call. If you hold your stylis down on one of the squares and choose properties, you'll be able to insert a picture (image) and change the phone number to call when that quick dial is pushed. Pretty smooth.

DSF767,

I believe you need both for this to work. And the ones that come with the Ozan are a "demo" version. I believe you have to buy the software as well. I already had it installed, so I'm not sure on that.

Dbldare,

Thanks for the replies. You have been very helpful.

Another question: A nice weather app was included with the package. It works fine on the regular today screen, but how do I get it to work with the iPhone skin? Also, I would like to have some visual indication of upcoming apppointments and new email messages. Is that possible?

Thanks in advance!

Ok, now that I have the iPhone skin installed, I no longer recieve alerts for upcoming appointments or new email. Has anyone found a fix for this?

There's a lame work around for the appointment issue. Click and hold on a blank part the "home" screen (the one with all the icons), and choose "New" - "Text" - Then change custom text to "Appointments". Then click the button on the right of "Tap Action" (the one with the ...'s in it). Then choose Messaging in the list. Click "ok" then "ok" again and you now have a notice of how many appointments you have upcoming but not specifics about them. You can click and hold on the new item and choose move to arrange it the way you want.

Hope That helps,
Mike

For those of you who have purchased Ozan's suite, how is payment made? Does he accept PayPal?

I moved out these threads from this original thread:

http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/samsu...ans-suite.html

If you want to discuss the free version, please do it there, only use this thread for the Ozan Suite version.
