Wi-Fi Trouble - help me not return my i730

I got the i730 a few weeks ago and the wi-fi has been working ok. But lately it hasn't been working at all. This weekend there were 7 wireless networks and I did not sucessfully connect to any of them. By the way I do not have a data plan so I rely on wi-fi for all internet connection (and I am still running WM3)

Are there any particular settings that need to be set a particular way in order for wi-fi connection to be sucessful?

If anyone can help me out or refer me to another post that would be awesome b/c at this point the phone it useless, at least for connecting to the internet.

Thanks,

Mike

Part of the big issue is WM2003. Performance for WiFi under WM2003, well for lack of a better word, sucked.

WM5 improved WiFi, and the amount of access points it could connect to. I would highly suggest making the move to WM5 if you use WiFi a lot, as this helps tremendously.

If you add third party software like Pocket WiNc or WiFiFoFum, it helps.

But I found the best improvement was changing the OS to WM5.
