Every couple of days on my I730 WM5 device my phone goes into limbo when dialing a number. The phone indicates 'Dialing', but does not connect to anything, no ringing just hangs their. If I reset the device, everything works fine for another couple of days. . Anyone else encountered this?

Updating the PRL *22899 does not fix it.
Thanks Bruce
Yeah, I've encountered it too. In fact, it happened to me last night on my way home. It usually happens during the evening on my way home. I was wondering whether it had something to do with rush hour and the cell towers being heavily used, but I couldn't figure out why the problem would go away with a soft reset if that were the case.
What software do you have installed on your i730?

I get that sometimes. Most often when I'm in a crappy signal area. It seems to be trying to get the call to go through but cant. I've noticed that if it doesn't get through in the first 20 seconds or so, it never will. When this happens I simply end and re-send the call.

Re-sending usually doesn't work for me. The only thing that usually works is a soft reset.

It sounds like it is one of those 'features' we just have to live with. It seems to have nothing to do with signal quality, phone just goes into Lala land. That is a 'technicial' explanation.
I think it is a VS feature. Sometimes I have to do a long press of the BT headset to get the dialed number back in the headset after the phone dials.
Although I've had the problem occur with VoiceSignal, I'm currently using Voice Command and had the problem crop up just last week with VC.

I've seen the same thing occasionally. However, I sometimes think it's not dialing, but later realize that I've left my bluetooth headset on the table and the audio is being routed to it, so nothing comes out of the phone.

I almost always use by BT headset so for me the problem has not been leaving the headset on my table (because the headset is in my ear ).
