But if you go to the abacuswatches.com page and click "compatibility" it says "Most Bluetooth enable Sony Ericcson phones. Support for Series 60 phones with Symbian OS versions 7, 8, & 8.1 will be available shortly."
So from the looks of it, if you don't have a Sony phone, it might not work. Many bluetooth devices that read information from your phone don't play well unless it has the specific model. Most cars are this way, and don't read the battery info or signal strength unless you have a specific model or brand.
Your best bet would be to contact them directly and ask about it.

Well Fossil got back to me about possible compatibility
with the I730....They said Sony Erickson phones only
didnt seem to care.... oh well I AM RETURNING MINE TODAY.
Seems odd to limit your market...but...
Well, pure speculation but... Maybe Sony has a contract with Fossil or owns a bit of shares of Fossil.
And on that note, sony has a real problem with proprietary gear.. Just look at blu-ray... I really dislike sony and I hope that Blu-Ray is the demise of them.
The watch uses a new (almost proprietary) bluetooth profile, defined by SonyEricsson. Unless this new profile is picked up by other US Market phone manufacturers, this watch is likely to be DOA here in the states.
The only other immediate hope MIGHT be Nokia for us here in the US but only on its series 60/80 PDA phones.
Unless this new profile catches on with US mfgs we're probably SOL.
I have one of these watches and it worked great with my Sony Ericson phone. However, I lost that sucker and then moved on to a blackberry pearl and now onto a iPhone. I'm hoping that there is some patch or app for the iPhone that allows me to connect to the watch.
