WM5 Need More "Remind Again In" options

When an appointment fires, it gives a few options to remind again up to one hour then the next option is one day. Are there any hacks to get 2, 4 and 8 hour options?

Need more Snooze Options

I agree. One thing I like about Outlook on the desktop is the ability to snooze for 4 and 8 hours. Even my PalmPilot had a program, Datebook, that allowed you to snooze either for a set period of time or until a time you designate. It's hard to know what to do when a reminder goes off at 10 p.m. and your only options are to keep having it go off all night, edit the appointment, or have it snooze for a day.

I'm eager for an answer to this one!

On outlook desktop, you can type in whatever duration you want. You might try that on WM5, I never have reminders running on mine.

This is currently the single most annoying problem of WM5 (upgraded with all of the fixings found here). I would love to have a fix for this! As mentioned, the gap in remind again from 1 hr to 1 day is painful. Why can't there be some happy in between time or even be able to set the remind time yourself?

Does anyone have any solution for this?

No solution, but there is a registry key for calendar reminders at

\HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Calendar\Reminder

with a very long data string for the DEFAULTS value. Maybe someone with the expertise can take a look and see what could be modified and/or added to give the additional options.

This is a bump for this, cause I would love a few more options as well. Has anyone found a solution or are we stuck with what we have?

I agree. This is one of my major beefs with WM5. WM2003SE had many more selections. The ones that were deleted, in fact, were the only ones I ever actually used! So you can imagine my frustration.

I checked the sited key in 2003SE, but there is no DEFAULTS key there. I renamed it and reset, but that had no effect. Sorry.

Something tells me if you ask the developer of AlarmToday (same guy who makes phone alarm), that he would try to add some feature for alarm delays.

http://www.pocketmax.net/alarmToday.html

It might have something to delay alarms already...I havent used it in a long time.
