Hi people,

Great forum, I have been lurking in the shadows enjoying all the mods, hacks, etc that have been supplied by all of you.

Just did the WM5 thing, got everything all set the way I want it, but I need to get one other thing accomlished. Is ther an easy way to have a button assigned to rotate the screen (I would be happy with either way). I could use the long press on 1. I have searched the threads, but no luck.

Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance

Buttons can be assigned in Settings-Buttons. Rotate screen is one of the options. Or is there something else you are trying to accomplish.

Using the Buttons applet in settings, you can assign Screen Rotate to one of the buttons on the PDA. For example, you could set a long press of button 1 (the record button) to Screen Rotate. Then, when you press and hold that button for a second or two, it will switch between the two orientations.

A number of folks have remapped Button 1 (below headphone jack on left side of device) from Record to something else, as it's often pressed unintentionally.

You might want to change this button in particular to Rotate Screen.
