Intelligolf and Com Port issue

I am thinking of adding Intelligolf GPS to my I 730 but Delourme is suggesting there is a Com Port patch that is necessary...anyone know anything about this or what I need to do?

I have been using Intelligolf on my I730 (and I700 before that) for probably two years with no problems.

If I play behind you and see you using your i730 on the course, I may "accidently" drive one up your tail pipe. JK

I thought about this software and it just makes the game more complicated than it really is. Save your money and buy a distance finder instead.

Yup, I've tried several of these on an Axim AX30 and found them all to be more hassle than they're worth. I'd just like a simple little App that knows (from the GPS reading) what fairway I'm on and tells me distance to the center of the green and the T Box.

Of course all bets are off when I'm on the wrong fairway.

Could you fwd how you got the i730 & Intelligolf GPS to work?

Just purchased Intelligolf w/Eagle GPS capability to run on my i730. Problem? Although my GPS rec'r (i-Blue 737) works great with my Garmin Mobile s'ware on my i730, I cannot seem to figure out how to get the port set-up so my GPS rec'r can be recognized within Intelligolf.

Realize that it may be that my GPS rec'r is incompatible with Intelligolf but before dumping it, would welcome info on how you/anyone has gotten it to work (com port/baud combination). Thks in advance!
