Pocket Weather...

Hello -

Is anyone using Pocket Weather on their WM5 installation?

I just installed this last night for the first time ever, and it appears that whenever I connect through any data connection (EV, or Sync) my phone basically slows down to a lock up... I beleive it is trying to get updates for the weather, however it never seems to accomplish this, and after about 5 minutes I end up just soft rebooting it..

Is there something I am missing here? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks!

I am running PW without issue (although I am not in an EVDO area).

Under the Comms tab I have the "Use Connection Manager" button checked and "Force a connect when not available."

I'm in an EVDO area and am using v1.3.3 with no problems. Do check the setting mentioned above - it's off by default.

Oh, I have Use Connection Manager unchecked.. what does that mean even? I dont really want it going out and connecting automatically, i just want it to update when I sync up or an connected through EV... Should I still "Use Connection Manager" and keep Force a Connect unchecked?

I believe so, but I've never used it without "Use Connection Manager" checked.
