dang, i went into the registry like before and modified the directory path to safestore\ringers

after i did that i think it jacked up the ringers because now when i go to settings > phone and check the ringers, none of the ringers work. i went back and changed the path back to \windows\rings and soft reset but still none of the ringers work...

anyone successful in changing the default ring directory?

i guess with the new memory allocation changes there was no need for me to change the ringers directory. oh well, i guess i messed up my defualt ringers.

ok... so what's up with my default ringtones directory???

i changed it back in the registry to \Windows\Rings\

now when i goto Settings > Phone all i see is like the 6-8 default ringtones. and it lists each ringtone twice. the filenames all have a space right before the filetype too. (i.e. jig .wma, ringer .wav)

when i put mp3 files into \windows\rings\ i dont see them show up as options

when i try to set the rington from within the contact itself it only lists the windows default tones.

when i try to preview my ringtones i get an error that the file is either corrupt or doesnt exist.

are my ringtones just hosed? can i seriously be the only one with this issue...

if only i thought of changing it to poo... i had to do a hard reset to fix my problem.
