HELP - missing sms function??

I seem to have lost my SMS function. I recently did a hard re-set and software reload. I have reloaded the following Today Screen Apps (I mention as I suppose one could possibly be responsible for my problem???)
>WA2 2.4.1.20 beta (installed in SafeStore)
>phoneAlarm 1.30 (installed in SafeStore)
>iLauncher (installed in SafeStore)
>PocketWeather (installed in SafeStore)
>PhoneHelper (installed in SafeStore)

And a bunch of other stuff, all of which is installed in SafeStore or SD Card.

This is basically how my device was configured previously, but now I seem to have lost my SMS function. The screen capture below shows no SMS account, but a text message option when sending a message.

Any thoughts??

Thanks

John

How did you actually get phonealarm and pocketweather to work from safestore? I have tried numerous times (especially since the startup delay option was enacted) and all times I tried have been to no avail. I would love to free up some memory by doing this, as well as adding photocontacts pro to the safestore also (as these are the three big hitters for me).

Off topic, but I have never had a problem. The latest PA (1.30) functions well from SafeStore (the dll stay's in the Windows directory in main memory). PW runs great from SafeStore.

You mailbox store is corrupt. You need to download and run this program. It's from Sprite and will clean out your mailbox store and recreate it. You will loose any current messages in it, so make sure you know the information that is inside it. This happens occasionally when using sprite to backup and restore your mailbox.

Worked like a charm. Thanks Mike.

Mike, can you add this to the FAQ ?

I have ran into this issue a few times when trying to restore from a Sprite backup and never knew there was a utilitiy to resolve it. Thanx for the tip.

It's on my list to add when doing the next big FAQ update. Don't know when it's going to be, but it's on the list.
