Two files, may be enough info. sarcasmsra , What are your files ver.? Could you copy all of BT files from your i730 & share zip & some reg about BT.

Did you try BCHS_FOR_POCKET_PC_OZONE.ARMV4.CAB ?
I have tried using this hack in conjunction with the BCHS_FOR_POCKET_PC_OZONE.ARMV4.CAB (non Microsoft) stack on my imate JAM (you can find this stack here http://forum.xda-developers.com/view...dda750a1030d92). Unfortunately I had no success here either. This is probably no surprise though as I understand this hack is meant for the Microsoft stack.

I'm probably the only one that can't get this to work yet..

Do you store the files in the \Windows folder?

When I click on the AudioOn, I get an error message "Unable to enable BT audio". Nothing happens for AudioOff. I get the same error message every other time I click on the BTAudioToggle program.

Where do you paste the copy of the BTAudioToggle file to create a short cut?

Thanks for any help.

Check this
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\VoiceCommand]
"LaunchAPEnable"=dword:00000000
"VoiceCmdEnable"=dword:00000001

& be sure you use PDA WM5 with MS Stack

Thank you for the help. Are you saying I need to use WM5 instead of Windows Mobile SE 2003?

Yep, I have an i730 with Windows Mobile SE 2003. I think other folks have been successful with that OS, not sure what I'm doing wrong yet.

It works just fine on my i730 and it has 4.21.1088 on it. Now I did find that I would get that error message if bluetooth wasn't enabled on the phone or if the headset wasn't on (at first I tried it while the headset was on the charger in the other room. You can imagine why it didn't work. DOH!)

hey guys,

good work, thx for it.

just a guick question:
if i enable redirect, is the audio channel always on?

for better understanding:
i have a parrot ck3300(bluetooth and handsfree) installed in my car, it itselfs mute the radio if a call is incoming, and let me hear the voice from the caller over my carspeakers. i also run tomtom5 on my imate jam. if there is a voice command from tt5, does it only mute the radio/cdplayer if the command is running or is it always muted if i run tt5? or doesn't it depends on tt5 and its always muted?

thx and best regards from germany

I have a slight problem

Hi. I tried the hack and it works but when I brought the audio to the bluetooth head set the first time its sound has diminished where now I can only make it louder by one button touch adjustment. Now the bluetooth is quiet low in volume. Is there a way to fix this without having to do a hardreset? Thank you.

Tried the utility on my qtek 9000 with WM5. Weird... it runs, but triggers voice command instead of doing what it's supposed to do (basically running BTAudioOn.exe and BTAudioToggle.exe has the same effect as pushing the button on BT headset). Any ideas why this happens and is there a way around it?

cant turn on bluetooth audio with voicesignal

A few posts back someone mentioned that they set up voicesignal to open "bluetooth audio on."

I put my BTAudioOn.exe file in safestore and a link to it called Bluetooth Audio On.lnk in my Windows\Start Menu\Programs directory. Voicesignal finds and runs the program no problem, but it seems that, for me,voicesignal automatically turns off bluetooth audio when it closes, thus negating turning it on. I am wondering if this behaivior, is from updating voicesignal to version 2.0 build 0157? can anyone confirm this?

It seems that an easy work around for this would be to add a 2 second delay before actually turning the bluetooth audio on to give voicesignal a chance to close first. Does anybody know how to add a 2 second delay in a .lnk file?? If not, sarcasmsra can you add a delay option to your wonderfull app?? prettyplease

Hi all. I haven't been following this thread for a very long time. Sorry about that, just been busy.

In regards to which PDA devices the audio utilities should work on: They *should* work on any PDA that uses the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack running on WM2003SE or WM5. There is no chance of it working with any other Bluetooth stack, or with an older OS. For devices that fit the criteria, there is still a chance that it will not work either because the hardware does not have the necessary internal connections or because the device maker modified the bluetooth driver and took out or modified the functions that the audio tools use.

In regards to writing a version of these utilities that works with the Widcomm BT stack: The Widcomm SDK is not publicly available, so this would not be a trivial task, and I do not have a device that uses the Widcomm stack so I have no way or reason to try to do this.

Sarcasmsra!!!

Hey Man!

This hack WORKS GREAT on Sprint PPC6700, just had to turn on my BT headset and have the BT on the phone turned on! I DO have the issue with when the phone rings it ends up going back to speaker but I have no problem using one hand! Thanks and great job!

sarcasmsra rox

I'm thrilled to have stumbled across this thread. Works like a charm on my XV6700.

I'm an avid Audible listener and this really helps. Although my BT 1.2 Flamingo lets me hit the button to activate the audio, this will now allow me to work in one of the VC hacks.

Question: Is there something similar to .bat files for Windows Mobile?

I was thinking that a little prog that would first call btaudioOn then launch Audible player would be pretty sweet.

Yes, that's what I do on the i730 too. Works like a charm! And since my co-workers are used to seeing me with my Borg implant glued to my ear, they have no idea that I'm listening to an audio book instead of them.

The .bat file idea is one of the things that is sorely lacking on WM (all versions) Does anyone know of a third party scripting app that can do this, or perhaps one of our programmer wizards could take this on ... please.
