Sarcasma, Your BTaudio hack works perfectly for me. I just picked up streaming TV and can now watch and listen to it without disturbing everyone else! Thanks a lot!
I attempted to run BTaudio on my Imate PDA2K but it failed to work. The program returned, "Failed to open Bluetooth Audio Gateway". When attempted, I had Voice Commander installed, and Jabra BT800 paired and active.
I realize that you programmed it specifically for the i730, having Win Mobile 2005; which differs from my Win Mobile 2003.
1) I am curious, what exactly does BTaudio do - I am referring to programming (pseudo code) rather than functional performance?
2) Are the changes by BTaudio done through RAM or through Registry changes?
3) Would a soft reset clear the effects of BTaudio (ie: RAM changes only, and not Registry changes)?
4) Although it doesn't work on WM2003 (PDA2K), is there any reason you know by which it can not work if tweaked?
5) I read the usergroup info and I interpreted that WM2003SE has the same functionally for BluetoothAudioGateway - did I read that right?

... Thanks.
Please note that the Samsung i730 utilizes WM2003SE, not WM5. In regards to your other questions, sarcasmsra can answer them.
Thanks for the clarification. In that case, I am baffled that the program didn't work on my PDA2K. I presume it and the i730 should have all the same ROM applications and services.
So, in theory, shouldn't BTaudio also work on the Imate PDA2K?
Has anyone reported that they did get BTaudio to work on a PDA2K?

I thought the PDA2K uses the Widcom BT stack. The i730 uses the Microsoft BT stack. Is that possibly the source of the incompatibility (he asked speculatively)?
I am trying to use this version instead of Super Dave's hack. When I press the button on my headset I hear the voice command beep and then the audio cuts off and I hear voice command thru the phone speaker. I have tried to delete the btagextmodule.dll but keep getting a sharing violation. Does anybody have any suggestions.
I installed these 2 hacks and it went well. Voice signal button starts Voice Command and I can toggle audio on and off. When I press the button on my headset I hear the voice command beep and then the audio cuts off and I hear voice command thru the phone speaker. I did not install Super Daves hack. So what am I doing wrong? Please help
Thanks,
bigdogg

These utilities will allow you to turn on/off the redirection of all system audio audio to your Bluetooth Headset.
This requires NO other hacks or modifications to your i730.
The attached ZIP file contains 3 files:
BTAudioOn.exe
BTAudioOff.exe
BTAudioToggle.exe
Hi Sarcasmsra,
Your work is so great!
But does this patch can work with Imate-Jam(Dopod81? if not, would you pls help me develop the patch for Imate-Jam. Many Jam user want this very useful Bluetooth function!

I did this
Quote:
hklm\software\oem\voicecommand and set the value of "launchapenable" from 1 to 0
and error message gone! & even little beep appears when i turn on this in handsfree, but no sounds in my jabra BT800. Device has MS stack! What else could be in regedit to edit????

Unfortunately it does not seem to work on the JAM ... at least not on my JAM. It appears as if everything runs like it should except I just cannot get any sound through other the phone calls. I think I have read somewhere of other JAM users having the same problem (http://forum.xda-developers.com/view...=203728#203728). If anybody has the solution please share. Cheers.
