I never had the hack installed and still cannot get BTAudio off to work
Works great, using it now at my desk and no one can tell listening to the Hobbit book on tape. Did a test call to my phone and was able to answer the call with the headset. I'm using pocket player and it pauses the playback when there's an incoming call. It then unpauses it when the call is disconnected, just have to turn the BT redirection back on because the audio goes back over the speakers.
Just an idea -- any chance one exe could be created that would toggle the BT so we could assign it to one button and it would turn it on or off as appropriate?
NOW that would be sweet! And give it a cool icon so that the shortcut is pretty!

Hmm, an icon... Anyone want to provide one?
How about a Green circle with BT in it for ON and Red with BT for OFF. Could try making something up for you if you need me to. That is if it's possible to rotate icons for the same shortcut with this OS.
Great, I'll go with that. Thanks johntchow, and I hope it doesn't infringe on any copyrights.
As far as the icon itself toggling with the current state, that would be rather complicated as an icon is just a static resource in an executable. The .exe would have to alter itself. Also, the OS does not refresh icons constantly anyway, it caches them for speed, so even if the icon changed the OS would not always show the current icon.
Originally posted by johntchow im not sure this is doable, at least not easily. plus when the headset audio is on, dont you get an icon of a headset on the top taskbar?
I would recommend the bottom taskbar. A lot of people already have too much crap in the top task bar
