People,
does anybody knows how to enable sounds redirection on Win2003SE?
I have Motorola MPx220 (Windows Mobile 2003 SE SmartPhone Edition),
and this program only issues "Failed to enable BT audio".
Have anybody some suggestions?
My little inestigation said my SP has Microsoft Bluetooth protocols stack, and I haven't found the solution how to install Widcomm/Broadcom stack on my phone (I have found some registry tweaks on WidComm stack for this problem).
May be somebody can say anything on this issue?
May be the author of such usefull utility can provide me with the source code. I will be very appreciated to have chance to port the program.
You are asking in a Pocket PC forum and you are trying to load a Pocket PC software on a Smartphone. These are two different OSs, and won't work with each other. You should ask in the MPx220 thread on here.

Nope, this is for a Microsoft Pocket PC OS based phone based upon the Windows Mobile OS. This will not work on a "regular" phone like the CU500 by LG. I am afraid you have the wrong forum/website for that type of phone.

Just thought I'd add that I have installed this on my I-mate SP5M/ HTC Tornado/T-Mobile SDA and it worked perfect the first time. I just followed the instructions on the first post on this forum.
Thanks for the great tool.
I just use BTAudioToggle.exe. Click once to turn on and again to turn it off... I use this to watch recorded TV or movies while on lunch break.. Though I have a set of BT headphones, I can use my cell phone(single ear vs both ears) BT headset when I want to be more discreet.
Force BT headset to remain active / Copy all audio to both phone and BT headset?
Thanks for the BTaudio programs. These are helpful.
Here's my dream:
I'd like to be able to put my T-Mobile SDA in to a mode where, if the BT headset is in communication with the phone, the headset is ALWAYS active. In effect, all audio would be "copied" to BOTH the phone and the BT headset.
I keep running in to situations where I accidentally (or the phone maliciously, yeah, that's it...) turns off BT audio, and then I do a BT voice dial (that still works, even though BT audio is off) and then I annoy the person I called whom I can't hear and who can just vaguely hear me going "Hello? Hello? Is this @$#@$ thing on?" ...

It sounds like what you are asking for is a program that makes sure Bluetooth redirection is enabled any time the headset is in range. Note that this would mean the phone's audio would not work when there is a bt headset in range, as there is no way (that I know of) to use both at the same time.
Anyways this would be possible through an application that monitors bluetooth activity and turns bt audio redirect on any time it sees a headset in range. I have no time to pursue this, but if any other developers want to take this on the first thing to look into is the RequestBluetoothNotifications function, whose documentation can be found here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...ifications.asp
I am using BTaudio on Xda Atom.
Its practical.
Microphone works as well via Skype.
But the volume seem to be very low, people can barely hear me.
Anyone know how it could be solved?
Okay I got my i730 about two weeks ago and I have been trying for a week to get this utility to work and I just can not seem to get it to run. I have tried with two different BT headsets (at Motorola and a Bluespoon) and everytime I click on any of the files (on, off, or toggle) I get the following error:
"The file 'BTAudioToggle' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its componetes cannot be found. You migh need to reinstall or restore this file."
dpicts, have you upgraded to WM5, this only works on WM5?

Yes, that was the first thing I did after activating it with verizon (my s/w version is currently: S:i730WM5.2.6V.ZB21.14928.) I had thought that maybe it was the A2DP fix or someother software interfering with it, so I did a hard reset lastnight and and tried it before installing any software (other than your toolset) and it still gave the same error. I proceded to install the rest of my apps (SPB Pocket Plus, AlarmToday, pAlite, FlexMail, and Bejewled) but did not install the A2DP fix and it still does not work. I have tried launching the program from \windows, safestore, the root, and from the SD card and they all give the error.
Sorry scratch what I said above, I was thinking this was SD's A2DP fix, but this is the utility to redirect all audio over bluetooth. This does work on WM2003 and WM5. I don't know why it's not working...

Okay, got it to work... instead of downloading the files to my computer, unziping them, and transfering them via AS to the i730, I simply downloaded them directly onto the i730 via pocketIE and unziped them with pocketRAR. Now it works perfectly.
Hello, this is my very first post here in this forum . This site is solid and everyone sounds very knowledgable.
I tried to copy all 3 files in my PocketPC and it did transfer the music to my BT everytime I run the BTAudioOn but it also trigger my Voice Speed dialer and it close after giving me a message "unable to detect your voice, please speak loudly." about 2 sec then the music goes back to the phone speaker.
Am I missing anything? a registry hack perhaps or something?
I am using xda exec and the file works with the following hack.
hklm\software\oem\voicecommand and set the value of "launchapenable" from 1 to 0
Cheers,
I have the UTStarcom PPC-6700 and this software worked right away, but it was by default bringing up the voice speed dial prompt and as soon as that prompt was aborted/done the audio would drop.
I did the "chris_khho" registry hack above and now it works as intended without effecting my voice speed dial!
YAY! .. Now what's this about not getting stereo headphones? This PPC runs Windows Mobile 5.0 with a 416 Mhz CPU that runs without fault at 520 Mhz.. You'd think stereo bluetooth would work out of the box.
Anyways thanks sarcasmsra and chris, this hack is almost a solution!
