I was looking at Programs and I saw SPB Pocket Plus Actions and I selected it and all of these various actions folders or tasks showed up with the names in brackets. I selected 4 of them one at a time to look at them and now when I tap on the Windows Icon on the Start Screen and go to the Today Screen, four of those action tasks are displayed on the screen. How can I get rid of them?

Those icons are shortcuts. Go to the folder (using either Explorer or Total Commander) and delete/move them as you wish.
