Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to see if any developers out there would consider creating a "KeyCaps 600" style app for the i730.

For those unfamiliar with this app, it's an app the allows you to "Double press" a key and get the "Function" of that key. It would be the same as pressing the function key and the key.
A "Long" press of the key, you would get the "Shift" of that key.

I used it on my Treo 600 and my 650 and It was GREAT.

I am using the NumLocker app which is a wonderful program for the number pad.


So....anyone want to see if they can do it?

Here, here!! I second this request (in fact, I already made this request in the "NumberLock" thread). KeyCapsHack was the single most useful piece of software I've ever installed on a PDA and I would LOVE to have something like it for the i730!

But what if u have to type a word that has 2 of the same letter together? ie glass.
You have to pause between the 2 S's?

The person who has developed NumLocker has said that he would like to extend it to all the keys, but he currently does not have the time. This is something that is talked about in the NumLocker thread.

If someone else would like to work on something, or talk more about it, the best way would be to approach the NumLocker person. I think he is close to being there, he would just have to devote some more time for it.

That's right. You pause. It's not bad at all. As a whole, this application increased my typing speed tenfold on the Treo.
