Well, I had thought that the voice command remap had done the trick, but the beeps were back today. Strangely, only others on Verizon phones complain about hearing them. Very annoying!!!!! Seems to happen with or without bt headset.
A review of the i730 I read said that voice privacy may be responsible for beeping and alos for syllables cutting out. Try disabling voice privacy and see if it still happens- I believe it's under settings -> phone -> etc.
I had the same experience that it was only Verizon customers hearing the beeping (I never heard it). I Have disabled the privacy setting and have not had any complaints since.
I have been told that some people have heard the beeps with me as well. All being Verizon customers and on their phones. I disconnected the call, did a soft reset, and called them back. They did not hear any beeps after I did this.

Does everyone with the beeps have Microsoft Voice Command?
I am told randomly by callers when the beeping sound happens and a soft reboot fixes the problem temporally. You hear a short pause or break in the signal when the beep sound occurs. I have called my cell from a landline and heard the beeps myself. If I soft reboot and then press my voice command button, the beeps start. They then beep every 20 seconds or sooner depending on if I hit my Voice Command button.
This is so damn annoying! This is what all those extra months of VZW quality control get us.
I have only had the problem once, and have not had anyone since then tell me that it is beeping.
I also don't have VC mapped to the record button, mine is remapped to the VS button, and I really don't think it's easy to bump that button, like it is with the Record button.
As a test for those of you still have problems with beeping, remove VC from the record button, just set the record button to None, then do a couple of soft resets. Now make some phone calls to people that normally always hear it beep and see what they say. Try using it that way for a couple of days and see.
Now if you don't have it mapped to the Record button, then I guess this is a waste, but when I had the problem VC was on the record button and VS was still on it's button.

I set voice privacy to standard...confirmed today it doesn't help with the beeping.
I spoke with a verizon rep...after 2 hours going around in circles the data guys swear it is the network not the device....so I have a ticket in with the voice people at verizon...
I was told I had the dreaded beeps yesterday on a work call. First time. I have also recently posted about issues with my volume slider (changing the volume buttons on the side of the phone causes the drop down menu for volume to start clicking, and I must reset.) I think I might have lowered the volume during this beeping phone call. I'm starting to thing the two are connected. Maybe even if you don't touch the volume during the call, you just need to tap the volme key and it causes beeping.
I am getting the beeping talk to sprint, verizon cell phone... I also tried calling *611 and the verizion rep heard to beeping, but I got disconnected before I finished the call...
