Key lock other than slide switch?

Does anyone know if there is a function similar to the one in the 6600 that will 'lock all buttons except power button'?

I don't want to have to use the switch on the side as it feels a little flimsy and with out it I find that my phone keeps turning on through inadvertant button hits.

I already have the software lock to activate but it doesn't prevent the buttons from activating the screen.

Thanks in advance.

Richard

The slider on the side, although flimsy, works just fine, and I haven't heard of anyone having any issues with it breaking.

All lock programs will act just like the slider does, except they won't unlock the phone with a quick slide up of the slider. If you really want to spend money on software, you can also try ScreenGuard, from PocketMax (the people who make phoneAlarm):

http://www.pocketmax.net/screenGuard.html

Use the switch, it does a good job, and works just like screen programs. However, if you search, you will find many threads complaining of the send/end buttons still being active when a call comes in. So far I haven't seen any software that prevents that functionality.
