The i730 is supposed to have wifi access in addition to CDMA and bluetooth? Okay, lets go! But.....what about simultaneous sessions? When you are on a wifi network will your CDMA line still work for voice calls? Not to mention power management.....
Still.....for field service/distribution apps this is a killer. Download your assignments for the day at your facility over wifi (nonmetered) and only transmit critical realtime data over CDMA in the field. For example...signature files could be retained in the device till the end of the day and then sent over wifi. Meanwhile delivery/task verification without signature could be sent in as the day progresses. For some field service apps this means a MUCH smaller data package would be required.
If the i730 works the same as every other PPC phone with wifi then yes you can use both simultaneously. People with the Audiovox 6600 and the addon SDIO Wifi card have confirmed simultaneous talking and surfing.
