Bluetooth stopped working (Out of the blue)

Ok, if we can move past the part about me still
using a SCH-i730. I just really hate side sliders
and think the portrait kb is the best for me.

So, I have the i730, upgraded to WM5 about
2 months ago. Everything has been working
fine until...

I went to BestBuy and got this home phone for
my office:
[ AT&T TL92278 | AT&T® Phones Store ]

It has bluetooth so I can use my cell phone thru
the office phone. And it worked fine for 2 whole
days.

Then, 3rd day... I noticed the bluetooth light on the
office phone didn't turn on when I entered the room.
(When my cell phone was in range)

I tried pairing it again. The office phone showed up,
I selected it, hit finish. Still no blue light on the office
phone.

So, I tried my Jawbone. It would go thru the pairing
process but the Jawbone continued to flash as if it
wasn't getting a signal back.

My wife and I went for a test drive yesterday in a
new Toyota and my phone wouldn't sync with it
either.

So, bluetooth is officially not functioning properly.

-I can turn BT on and off on the radio screen.
-I can attempt to pair although it never finalizes
-I tried deleting all paired devices
-I tried pairing many different types of devices, same issue
-I've tried many reboots and safe mode reboots
-Removed the battery, put in a new battery, etc.

Out of ideas... anyone else experience this?
I really don't want to hard reboot unless I know for
sure that'll cure it. It takes around 4+ hours to
get it back up and running with all the software I
have on it.

thanks in advance,
-Marc

And as an update, I downloaded the BT3900.cab and installed
it. No change.
