Hello, I just recently bought a Samsung i730 on eBay from a promising auction. (OR so I thought)

But I can not get a signal anywhere. I HAVE turned the phone on (WiFi and BlueTooth off) I have Data Calls turned off.

Everywhere I had signal on my VZW LGVX5300 I dont have service with this new phone. I have done numerous hard resets (Button on bottom) and one soft reset (In the phones menus)

Please help.

Did you configure the phone for your Verizon account?

Did you activate and transfer your old phone number to the new one via Verizons phone service #228 or on your online account?
