update to wm5 via A/S 4.5?

Hi,

I want to update my i730 to WM5. I downloaded the verizon software but it says it has not been tested with activesync 4.5 yet and may cause some failures. I have no intention of downgrading to 4.1 as I am happily syncing 4.5to my ipaq 210 with various things.

I looked in the forum, maybe the wrong search terms.

Has anyone updated their i730 to wm5 using a/s 4.5? any issues? How long did it take to do the update?

Thanks in adavnce for your help. I appreciate it.

please disregard. after I posted it, I googled and found it. I just updated my i730.

question though, under settings, "erase memory". what exactly is this for. is the memory recoverable if this option is pressed?

No, erase memory is one of the ways to hard reset the phone to the factory state.
