Where does tmail store saved messages

i created a folder named "Family" under "Text Messages"
then i created sub-folders in Family, one for each member of my family.
i like to save special messages.

so i got a newer i730. using async, i got my data moved between the old and new phones.

but, i can't find the "family" text message folder. i'd really like to move it to the newer phone. does anyone know where i should be looking?

thanks a lot,
marvin

So, i found out that all the stuff i'm after is in root\cemail.vol.

great! but i can't copy or move or rename that file with file explorer or total commander. does anyone know how to move a file that is in use?
i want to copy it to a storage card, then move that storage card into my newer phone...and voila ( or possibly, dam! ).

Maybe you could try using PIM backup. It's freeware, easy to install, and pretty easy to use, so you've got nothing to lose!

As far as the actual file, it's probably actually a database, and even though it appears in file explorer, windows probably doesn't treat it like a normal file
