I need a rom dump from an IP-830W and none of the sprint stores here ever bothered to carry the phone (from release to current time).

Could someone with this phone help me out? I'll be happy to talk you through the process.

You'll need an SD card of at least 256MB and a broadband internet connection. The whole thing will take about 10 minutes.

Does anyone on this forum have a sprint i830, if so can they PM me or meet me on the PDAPhoneHome group on parlingo. If I could get a dump, im pretty sure I could get wm5 on the vzw version. Not sure on the radio though, so I dont know about the unlocking.

Back in Sepetember 2007, I sent to Superdave the necessary file from my Sprint IP830 phone which has WM5. Do you need the same file?

yeah, I just need the WM5 IP-830w dump.bin (should be 64MB). Did you upload it to rapidshare? I can just grab it from there if you still have the link handy.
