Ok, just got over here, been looking for ways to tweak my i700, as a result of a recent glitch-out which required a hard reset (left battery off for 30 min.). BTW, it was the right half of the screen, and it had multi-colored vertical lines that covered top to bottom, from the middle all the way over to the right side. Is this bad? Should I be looking for a new phone? First time it's happened.

So what happens if you try to load Windows Mobile 5 (downloaded from the i730 Verizon site), what happens? I've heard the i700 can't be upgraded past 2003. Is this true?

Also, one more HUGE question. Am I supposed to be able to surf the internet on this thing without it taking freaking forever? It's worse than dial-up. Am I doing something wrong? I saw an SD Wi-Fi G 54Mbps card that looks pretty sweet, don't know if I need it.

Anyway, been hearing all this cool stuff about SuperDave and all his killer apps. Can someone fill me in on what is available, and what is recommended? That'd be pretty cool. Like just heard something about a locking program, have no idea what it does, except what I can guess at.

So if anyone could help out a newbie with a location or an email, that would be appreciated.
