Smile SDSoft SuperDave Phonelock

Hi all,
I keep coming back and seeing requests for phonelock. I ran it for a while and lost it myself. Anyway, after some searching, I found a version for the i730 that appears to work. It will warn you that it expired 6.1.2006, but it still runs. I have not been able to get to the config page, but you can go into the registry if you need to change that stuff (HKLM\Software\Sdsoft\phonelock).

File will be attached in the next post. (In case forum admistrators have an issue)

download SDsoft superdave phonelock

Here is the file. change the .txt to .exe and run on your pc to execute setup.

Or download the zip and change to .cab to install directly from your phone.

Tested slightly on my i700 and seems to work so far. Please let others know if it works for you also.

This is gonna sound real dumb, but I can't get windows to change the file extension type since there are two, it won't let me edit the .txt or the WinZip extension.

I really like Daves Phonelock and am pumped that I may be able to start using it again. Can you load the files, without the double extension?

Thanks,
Matt

Matt,
Here's how to fix windows so that you can change the extension:

1. Open "Windows Explorer"
2. Goto the directory where you have saved the phonelock files.
3. Click "Tools" --> "Folder Options..." on the menu bar.
4. When the Folder Options window appears, click the "View" Tab
5. Uncheck the box for "Hide extensions for known file types"
6. Click OK on the Folder options window
7. rename the phonelock files

Heres a picture.
