I used to be able to sync properly (with my Mac running PocketMac). After experimenting with some custom ring software, my desktop no longer sees the device! When I plug my i700 into the cradle, it doesn't run ActiveSync and the computer doesn't know it's there. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this? I've got a backup, but when I tried to restore the OS settings (from an SD card) it reported "sharing violations" trying to replace some files in /Windows/ - maybe it can't overwrite. What is the right procedure to do a complete restore? Maybe I need to do a cold-reset?
