Yeah, it was Wimpy. I guess I was trying to say that I could wait a bit for PPC2003, even though dormant mode would be a wonderful thing, but I would trade immediate availability of that software for a good case and keyboard.

OK, its all right to whine on the forum, but don't use obscure quotes from Popeye. It either dates you in a big way or says too much about your cable viewing habits.

BTW....does anyone from the NY area remember the Merry Mailman....forget I said that!

Hey, there's nothing obscure about quoting Popeye. In fact, it's very on topic considering that Windows Mobile, Phone Edition, WMPE, could be pronounced Wimpy.

WM2003PPC relief

At Brighthand http://www.brighthand.com/article/Dell_Says_Its_Fixing_Axim_Problem there is an article about the slowdown experienced by new Axim 5 users with OEM installed WM2003PPC. It indicates that it is an Axim5 issue exclusively.
