i700 Speaker Phone?

I do have one more question. Can anyone give me guidance on how to use the speakerphone on the i700. I believe I've read that it has one. But nothings real obvious to me on how to turn it on. I can fine nothing on the phone on in the PDF that came with the phone. Any ideas?

Thanks again.

Speakerphone

This is like the 85th time someone has asked... I was probably the 5th or 6th....

Hold down the Phone button and it will pop up a message box saying Speakerphone is On (or something to that effect)

Do the same to go back to handset mode.

Correct if you hold the phone button on the right for a few seconds the pop up message will appear and you are on speakerphone. Just do the same again and you will turn it off. I can say that the speakerphone is pretty darn good.

But - has anyone figured out a way to answer a call directly in speakerphone mode? (My typical fumbliing in the car is "hit the answer button, yell "hello, hang on a minute" THEN activate the speakerphone.)

Pain in the rear.

THANK YOU!! Samsung will get the booby prize for the worst instruction manual ever printed. Since my Jabra free speak is going back (it's not what it's cracked up to be) speakerphone will be a godsend! This forum is the BOMB!

So true.

Yes it is, and Samsung could learn a lot from it. The problem is that Samsung as a company doesn't give a crap about places like this, so instead of using it to better their support offering, they snub it off and continue to arrogantly think they know everything.
