The ERIToday is used to indicate if you are connected to the VzW network or not. The ERI part stands for "Enhanced Roaming Indicator." I have heard that if you roam to another network it will say "Extended Network" instead of "Verizon Wireless."

Dave: Not sure if this was answered already. The i700 is an ERI capable phone (Enhanced Roaming Indicator). Every ERI capable phone has 2 PRLs loaded; the standard roaming list for our partners, and the ERI PRL. The ERI PRL is what tells you if you are on Extended Network, etc... and on a standard handset allows the roam indicator and banner to indicate network status. Hope that makes sense.
The ERI PRLs are not updated very often, or as regularly as standard PRLs. Everyone should have 50019 and it should be that way for a while. My regular PRL is 50104 and SW WE04.

How did Francois get a PRL of 50104? The most updated one that i've seen is 50096.
Eh, sorry, I wasn't thinking at the time when I posted that. I'm an employee so we have a non-consumer PRL. ;p Both 50095 and 50096 ares the most currents PRL for the consumer America's Choice plan.

Now, how do I get the WE04 version? I've been working with Socket Communications to get the SDIO BT adapter to work, and it looks like there's issues with the WD17 code. I've spoken to both my local Verizon service center and the *611 technical support, and no one has code to update my i700 with.
